A frequent problem that\u00a0design engineers face when trying\u00a0to fit a product into an off-the-shelf\u00a0enclosure is the placement of PC\u00a0board bosses. They never seem to\u00a0be in the right place to secure the\u00a0circuit board, or else they are in the\u00a0way of other components.<\/p>\n

The narrow\u00a0threads and steep angle penetrate deeper into the\u00a0plastic reducing stripping or pulling out The\u00a0TriRoundular design minimizes radial stress and the\u00a0boss failures that stress can cause.<\/p>\n The Plastite\u00ae screws are used to assemble all\u00a0SIMCO enclosures. They\u00a0eliminate the need for metal\u00a0inserts and are cost effective.
